Gender（性别）
Masculine（男生）
Is used when the noun refers to males（persons and animals）: boy, king , ram, etc.
Feminine（女生）
Is used when the noun refers the females（persons and animals）: girls, queen, ewe, etc
Common（共同）
refers to noun that are of either sex, masculine or feminine.
Example:
child, pupil, teacher, parent, bird, etc.
Neuter（中性）
refers to noun that not alive and cannot be named as male or female.
Example:
table, chair, book, lamp, etc.
